Who we are

TeamCast is an Australian business that helps schools, clubs and community organisations record, produce and publish podcasts. In this policy, “we” and “us” means TeamCast. You can contact us at team@teamcast.com.au or on 1300 978 938.

What we collect

When you enquire or book a demo, we collect your name, organisation, email address and phone number, plus anything you choose to tell us in the message field.

When your organisation runs a program with us, we collect the audio you record and upload, the episode details you supply (show name, episode number, notes for the producer), and the contact details of the staff member managing the show.

Student and participant audio

Recorded audio is personal information and we treat it that way.

• Audio is stored on Australian-hosted infrastructure.
• Access is limited to the producers working on your show.
• Raw session files are deleted 90 days after the episode is published.
• Finished episodes are retained while you want them hosted, and deleted on request.
• Your organisation owns the recordings. We hold only the licence needed to produce, host and distribute them on your behalf.

No student voice is published without consent recorded by the school. If consent is withdrawn, we remove that student’s audio and re-publish the episode at no cost.

• To send production and publishing notifications
• To meet our legal and child-safety obligations

We do not sell personal information. We will not use your audio to promote TeamCast without asking you first.

Who else sees it

We use third-party providers for website hosting, file transfer, email delivery and analytics. They receive only what they need to provide that service. A current list is available on request.

Cookies and analytics

We measure page views in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact team@teamcast.com.au or call 1300 978 938. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
