Do we need a tech person on staff?
No. The studio arrives pre-configured and the recording process is one button. If you can turn on a kettle, you can run a TeamCast session.
How long does an episode take?
Most schools record for 20–30 minutes and publish a 10–15 minute episode. Recording usually happens in a single lunchtime or a scheduled session each fortnight.
Who does the editing?
We do. You upload the raw file and our producers handle editing, mastering, intro and outro music, artwork and distribution.
Where do the episodes live?
Wherever your families already listen — Spotify, Apple Podcasts and a unique link you can drop straight into an email, app or website. Push notifications go out automatically.
Is student data safe?
Yes. Episodes are published under your school’s own show. You control what is recorded, what is approved and what goes out. Nothing publishes without your sign-off.
Can we still send a newsletter?
Absolutely. Some schools run both. Elwood Primary chose to retire theirs entirely; St Mary’s Hampton uses a combination. Both work.
